Founded in 1870 by Avraham Teperberg in the old city of Jerusalem, Teperberg Winery became the first family winery founded in Israel in the new era. Today, Mr. Moti Teperberg, 5th generation of the family, is the current owner and CEO of Teperberg Winery.
Producing 8 million bottles a year, Teperberg Winery is Israel’s third largest winery. 85% of the production is sold within the local Israeli market and 15% is exported around the world to 22 countries.
The winery is located at the foothills of the Judean Mountains. This area is an integral portion of the Israel wine tourism route. This area combines a long-lasting wine history with the modern growing regions of today’s high-quality grapes.
